Words That Inspire

Whether written or spoken, words have such immense power to evoke
deep emotion, touch our heart, feed our soul, and life our spirit.
I recently came across some beautiful verses of inspirational quotes
that I thought might touch your spirit, as they have mine…
I beg you…to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language, don’t search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer… (rainer maria rilke)
How cooling hope can be. It offers peace when you are suffering. As you know, hope is not the easiest thing to find; especially, when your situation is squeezing your mind and body, pressing your attention into your pain. Nonetheless, when we are in pain and feeling hopeless something primal, magical and spiritual arises from within. It is that spark of hope. We don't have to conjure or force hope, or try to adhere it to our situation. All we have to do is be open to hope and it gently comes forward on its own. Hope is that spark of possibilities that reflects our eternal nature. Hope comforts and assures us that no matter what happens, we'll be okay. (Laura Alden Kamm/www.energymedicine.org)
After you've created your intentions, bless them, let them go, and live in the moment in a space of trust, love, peace and goodness - your spiritual DNA. Be in the energy of seeing miracles everywhere and from this space imagine all of your hearts desires."

True nobility is not about being better than someone else, it’s about being better than you used to be.” And so as you reflect upon the changes you would like to see in your life in the coming year: take small steps, but have large goals…remember that what matters is not always the result but the intention…love all of you – even the imperfect parts as they are what makes you the magnificent work-in-progress that you are.

I am the gardener of my mind. I keep all the weeds out.
(Louise Hay, a quote from her daily inspiration calendar/www.hayhouse.com)
When you are discontent, you always want more, more, more. Your desire can never be satisfied. But when you practice contentment, you can say to yourself, 'Oh yes -- I already have everything that I really need.' (The Dalai Lama)
