THE LIFELINE TECHNIQUE

What if you found yourself experiencing pain or fear and attempting to communicate with someone who did not speak your native language? Could they assuage your fears fully? Would they be able to give full, knowledgeable assistance for your pain? Might you find yourself experiencing frustration and a feeling of helplessness at the lack of communication, the inability to speak the language?

This is the general way our bodies feel when we do not communicate with them in their language, the language of symptoms. Symptoms are the body’s language, it is how your body tells you “things are not right”, or “I am out of balance!” Generally, we are taught when our bodies speak to tell them to “shut up”, or “leave us alone” and we turn to pharmaceutical drugs to quiet the chatter. This is about as effective as giving a child a pacifier, it will quiet the chatter, but there may be a mess to clean up later!

With the LifeLine™ Technique, created and developed by Dr. Darren Weissman of Chicago, we see symptoms quite differently. We see them as a gift. A gift from our bodies, in (one would say) very strange wrapping paper, telling us there is an imbalance that we are now capable of addressing. This idea at first seems very radical, but it is the foundation of the LifeLine™ Technique. This technique is a seamless blend of modern and ancient healing practices that creates a quick and powerful method for detecting the root of symptoms and opening up channels for thriving, optimal health.

In the quest of his own healing, Dr. Darren has studied Chiropractic, Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Ayurvedic Medicine, Total Body Modification, Neuro Emotional Technique and many other modalities all over the world. At the apex of this journey Dr. Weissman awakened to the beginning concept of the LifeLine™ Technique.

The underlying philosophy of the LifeLine™ Technique is to become whole. In becoming whole, we realize that all symptoms and challenges (pain, fear or stress) are a result of denied, internalized, or disconnected emotional experiences that are held in the Subconscious mind for survival and protection. When we reconnect to these experiences, and embrace them with Love and Gratitude, we consciously begin to accept all aspects of ourselves, becoming whole and healing.

“Why would we be fractured?” Is usually the next question. The Subconscious mind has many functions, but one of the primary functions is protection. It protects the Spirit from trauma and stress by taking on and holding emotional experiences the Conscious mind is unprepared to deal with, whether from a lack of skills, knowledge or teaching. In retaining the emotional experience, the Subconscious mind can be easily triggered by anything similar to the original occurrence, into running the memory (or program). If not released, these programs can lead to stagnation or imbalance of energy in the body, ultimately leading to disease.

The Lifeline Technique ™ expands on the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto (“The Hidden Messages in Water”), Dr. Candace Pert (“Molecules of Emotion”), Louise L. Hay (“You Can Heal Your Life”), Gregg Braden (“The Devine Matrix”) and many other of today’s scientists, visionaries and philosophers. The technique itself is presented in the form of a flow chart. The chart guides the practitioner through a series of discoveries, each of which provides the client with a piece of the story behind the symptom being addressed.

The practitioner uses Applied Kinesiology – ‘muscle testing’ – as the navigation system through the flow chart. As with an electronic GPS navigation system, that uses satellite uplink to find your place on the planet, continent, city, block and road to tell you to “turn left”, the ‘muscle testing’ uses and exploits the innate wisdom of the human Spirit/Mind/Body connection, or the Subconscious/Conscious uplink. The Lifeline Technique ™ shines a light on to, where the disconnection from an emotional experience has occurred, where the imbalance in the acupuncture meridians is located, why and in what way the body is expressing itself and where the Body, Mind or Spirit is holding the pattern of disconnection.

At each point of the where’s, what’s and why’s the practitioner applies the most powerful and yet simple aspect of the treatment. The spoken words of “Infinite Love and Gratitude,” and the gesture of “I Love You,” from international sign language.

This aspect of the treatment is based on the work of Dr. Emoto, a scientist at the leading edge of the study of water. Dr. Emoto’s work focused on water’s reaction to exterior stimulus and intention, and found that water changed its molecular structure based on the intention and stimulus around it. When presented with focused intention, water (frozen) in a crystalline state ‘expressed’ itself in varying ways. When exposed to harsh intention or rough music, the water crystals were dark, fragmented and jagged. When exposed to positive intention, either spoken or written, the water crystals appeared in fantastic structure and form, with some of the most beautiful crystals emerging when exposed to the words “Love” and “Gratitude”. To share a moment from the wonderful movie, “What the Bleep do we know?” the main character is looking at a picture of Dr. Emoto’s water crystal while standing on a subway platform when a stranger says to her: “Just think: If thoughts could do that to water, imagine what they do to our body!” Given that we are between 70% and 85% water, the effects of these aforementioned gestures and words have an immediate and profound effect. At Dr. Weissman’s web site, www.infinteloveandgratitude.com there are video clips showing live blood cell analysis of “before” and “after” a LifeLine™ treatment session. The differences are breathtaking and this author has witnessed this in person during Lifeline Technique ™ teaching seminars.

Another question that arises is that, “while finding the denied, internalized or disconnected emotions, does the client have to ‘reveal’ the story?” The answer is No. A beautiful aspect of the Lifeline Technique ™, it is “Content Free”. The client does not need to reveal any past trauma or private information. It only requires the client to be ‘present’ at the time of treatment and to be able to tune into whatever Subconscious thoughts, images or feelings arise to the Conscious awareness. It is very important to understand that the Lifeline Technique ™ is focused on Subconscious Holding Patterns revealed using non-invasive muscle-testing and harmonized with the incredible power of Infinite Love and Gratitude treating the whole person, not the symptom.

A final aspect of the Lifeline Technique ™ is that the practitioner is Not the healer – the client is guided to heal themselves. The human body is a self-healing organism – it already has everything it needs to heal itself, and all it needs is the freedom and balance to do just that. This happens when the client is able to consciously reconnect to the subconscious patterns of disconnection revealed by the treatment. The client then has the important responsibility of continuing the healing journey by ensuring a healthy, optimal lifestyle which focuses on what Dr. Weissman calls “The Five Basics”: Water; Food; Rest; Exercise; Owning Your Power. Living these “Five Basics” have had an immensely beneficial effect on my life to date.

My personal journey with the Lifeline Technique ™ has been a series of non-coincidental incidents. I was introduced to the technique at the Hay House, “I Can Do It” conference in Las Vegas. Dr. Weisman is a Hay House author and had a two hour conference on the Power of Infinite Love and Gratitude. Dr. Weissman and I had an immediate connection during his talk at the conference and we ‘happened’ to meet after his talk. He invited me to go up to Chicago and take the first of the seminars introducing the Lifeline Technique ™.

At the time just before that of that juncture, my life was in a muddle. Like walking through a labyrinth, twists and turns, never seeming to move ahead. It was a vicious circle of patterns, from hypochondria to abundance challenges. When asked how the Lifeline Technique ™ has effected my life and those around me, I have several analogies, but the best so far being written by a dear friend and Certified LifeLine Practitioner, Graham J. Wiseman;

“Imagine that when you’re born, you’re given a mountaineering-sized backpack to carry. As you go through life, you unknowingly ‘acquire’ rocks of various shapes and sizes that are put into that backpack. Each rock has a label: ‘Anger’; ‘Fear’; ‘Low Self Esteem’; ‘Frustration’; ‘Depression’ and so on. And each also has its own distinct voice like: ‘I’ve told you before – you’ll Never be any good at that.’ Most of the time, as you move through life, you don’t notice the weight of the backpack, because you’re so used to carrying it. But then, when you want to move in a new direction, you stagger under the weight of all those rocks, and as you end up on your backside there’s that little voice saying: ‘See! I told you you’d never be any good at that!’ And you’re left wondering how you wound up in that position yet again, having promised yourself you’d never repeat the same mistake.”

The Lifeline Technique ™ has given me the opportunity to reach into MY backpack and pull out some of those rocks. Each time I pull a ‘rock’ from the pack, I am given the chance to clean it off and see it for the gem it is, and when I see the gem I consciously admire the beauty of it with love and gratitude. Some have given away, others I keep. Through this process, my pack has lightened, my heart has lifted and my eyes are looking higher than ever before.

In this incredible evolutionary journey, I have begun to see the truth of becoming whole. At a recent Lifeline Technique ™ seminar, we were asked to voice our intention for our journey. My intention was; “To face the greatness in myself with humility, embrace the darkness in myself with love and gratitude and guide others to do the same.” This has been my inspiration to become a Certified Lifeline Practitioner, so that I may guide others to becoming whole.

So, the next time you have a symptom, whether it’s a headache, painful joint or stressful anxiety – get curious about what your body might be telling you and consider following the LifeLine to Optimal Health.
