COLORPUNCTURE ACU-LIGHT THERAPY

In Colorpuncture treatments, frequencies of colored light are focused on the skin using a handheld acu-light tool which emits different colors of light through focused tips. Each color consists of different wavelength frequencies of light and therefore communicates different energetic information. As the light is absorbed by the skin and transmitted along energetic pathways or meridians deep into the body, it stimulates the intra-cellular communication which supports life.

Colorpuncture is also a powerful bodymind system. It offers a unique new way to get to the roots of many health complaints. Colorpuncture therapy uses precisely targeted light treatments to gently unlock and release emotional trauma and information buried in the unconscious which often underlie our illnesses. Patients frequently report not only changes in their bodies, but improved emotional outlooks and a clearer sense of life direction after these treatments.

What is Esogetic Colorpuncture"?
Colorpuncture is a revolutionary new healing modality which involves focusing colored light on acupuncture (and other) points on the skin in order to energize powerful healing impulses in our bodies. It was developed by a German scientist and naturopath named Peter Mandel, who has conducted over 25 years of empirical research to develop this unique system of healing.

How Does Colorpuncture Work?
Esogetic Colorpuncture uses colored light to promote healing. Light is subtle in its effect, yet fast moving and penetrates deeply into all the cells of the body. Scientists are now discovering that light is actually the medium by which cells communicate and the basis of many bodily functions.

Who Will Benefit From Esogetic Colorpuncture Treatments and What Kind of Treatments Are Available?
Anyone can benefit from Esogetic Colorpuncture therapy. Whether you are ill or in pain, or simply wish to prevent illness and remain healthy, and also expand your consciousness, Colorpuncture can give you tremendous support in your journey.
Colorpuncture consists of a large body of specific light treatments designed to address all sorts of health and well-being issues. Some general types of treatment include:

  • Detoxification Therapy: Helps the lymph system of the body to drain and activates bodily detoxifying processes. Strengthens the immune system.Excellent for any infection, cold, flu, inflammation or problems of lymph congestion.
  • Endocrine Therapies: Balance the body's hormonal system and are a powerful support during PMS, menopause, puberty. Also work powerfully on the interaction between your hormones and your emotions and can be very helpful in cases of shock, trauma, insomnia, stress, anxiety and depression.
  • Coordination or Brain Therapies: Balance and regulate different parts of the brain and glandular system. Helpful for left brain/right brain imbalances, learning disorders, nervous system disturbances, etc.
  • Meridian Therapies: Colorpuncture uses light instead of needles to balance the flow if energy in the meridians or energy pathways of the body (based on Chinese Medicine). It offers a gentle, non-invasive way to support all the organs and body systems.
  • Pain Therapies: Since the roots of pain often lie deep in the emotions and the unconscious, many of these treatments work to clear pain by addressing the underlying issues in the bodymind.

HOW DO DIFFERENT COLORS EFFECT YOU AND YOUR BODY?
We are surrounded by color and light all the time. Without our being aware of it, these colors effect us. Here are a few suggestions as to how you might use different colors to influence your own health and well-being:
BLUE
Blue has a very calming effect on our psyches. It is a great color to paint your bedroom to help your relax and sleep well. Blue is also used to relieve all sorts of pain.It you have a burn or a cut, steadily shining blue light on the area will reduce pain.
YELLOW
Yellow helps to promote mental alertness. To help your child concentrate while studying, have them study in a room with yellow light or yellow walls.
RED
Red increases blood circulation. In order to promote healing, after the initial pain, bleeding or infection have been stopped it is good to apply red light to the area to increase blood flow in the area and there by support the healing process.
ORANGE
Orange is the color of joy. It lifts the spirits. If you suffer from depression, get a pair of orange glasses (sold quite reasonably in many health food stores) and wear them daily for 20 - 30 minutes.
VIOLET
Violet stimulates awareness and spiritual strength. To deepen your daily meditation, have a violet light shining nearby or paint the walls of your meditation room in soft violet.

Colorpuncture: The New Medicine of Light

Our first experience of light takes place in the muted glow of the womb. We are born into a world of colors. We are surrounded by light. Ancient wisdom and modern physics both maintain that we are literally beings of light. Light is a basic component from which all life originates, develops, heals and evolves. Colors carry many associations for us. They can trigger memories and emotions, bring strong images to mind and noticeably affect our senses.

The healing effects of color have been known for centuries. Ancient Egyptians, Chinese, Creeks and other major cultures used light and color for healing. The Egyptians had healing temples in which the rays of sunlight were split into bands of spectral colors. Particular colors were selected for specific problems and radiated on the patient. The ancient Creek "City of Light" Heliopolis promoted sunbathing as one of its primary medical cures. The Chinese diagnosed illnesses by reading the color of the complexion, tongue and overall body's appearance. The Nei Ching, a medical text dated 2000 years ago, uses color as a form of diagnosis and treatment. Modern color pioneers such as Dr. Edwin Babbit, Dr. Dinshah Ghagiali and Dr. Harry Riley Spitzer led to many treatment innovations. They all developed instruments which shone light on the body. Some focused colored light on zones of the body or through the eyes. In others, light was radiated through precision glass filters. Specific protocols were designed for a variety of ailments and their effectiveness is scientifically documented. Today, leading edge physicians and scientists are currently conducting advanced research into the use of light and color in healing. New innovations include full-spectrum light, laser quality and monochromatic red light.

Colorpuncture Balances Vital Energies
Current visionary Peter Mandel, a European Acupuncturist and Naturo-path developed an integrative system of light therapy called Esogetic Colorpuncture. It combines ancient wisdom and current scientific findings. Colorpuncture is a form of energetic medicine that utilizes colored light to balance the vital energy of the physical, emotional and energy systems of the whole body. It is gentle, safe, non-invasive, painless and can benefit people of all ages and health conditions.

Strong, true pigments are radiated through an "acu-light" pen. The acu-light is placed on various acupuncture points or zones on the body, which are more conductive to light flow. When the tip of the acu-light instrument is placed on acupuncture points the energy passes along the energy meridians through the cells. The color traveling through the glass tip imparts healing information to the body that balances the flow of energy (Qi) through the meridians. Each color has a signature frequency that sends unique impulses at the cellular level. These light patterns help to clear and balance the entire physical and emotional energy system of the body.

Mandel believes in the intimate interplay of the body, mind and emotion. Suppressed energy is stored in the body and can eventually manifest as physical illness. He addresses the deeper root causes of illness. His treatments are designed to gently release blocked information and emotional trauma. Once unlocked, these root causes can be resolved and released from the body to restore health. "Light is life. This is not a belief system, but something that is confirmed by science. Light is present in the communication between cells in the body," said Mandel. "Disease occurs when this communication is broken, when the cells can no longer speak the same language. Giving light has a resonance effect, bringing the cells into the same language again and healing the body."

Complimentary Colors and Health
For the past 20 years, Mandel has developed a library of treatments in which different colors of light are applied, depending upon the nature of the disharmony. Seven basic colors are used to add or decrease energy to the meridians. The warm colors of red, yellow and orange activate and stimulate while the cool colors of blue, purple and violet sedate and calm. The color green is neutral and balances and harmonizes.
Colorpuncture uses the theory of complementary colors to balance the flow of energy in meridians. Each color has its own complement: red-green, yellow-violet, and blue-orange. A healthy body contains these complementary colors in equal proportions. Painful or reactive points are treated with a cooling color first, then the non-reactive points are treated with the complementary warm color. This creates a balance in the energetic system.

The Colorpuncture repertoire is extensive in its number of treatment protocols for a variety of symptoms and diseases. Some of the basic treatments are for pain, insomnia, digestive upsets, anxiety, back pain, migraine, obesity, addictions and coordinating the functions of the brain. These treatments are designed to reestablish harmony to the body and to soothe the emotions. After these treatments, patients report relief of symptoms and a sense of well-being and calmness.

Other specialized treatments include dream zones, prenatal work, foot and hand reflexology and five-element balancing. Advanced treatments deal with systematic disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, Fibromyalgia, and auto-immune problems. Even though these systematic disorders are not "cured" with Colorpuncture, symptoms are alleviated, improving a patients' functioning and quality of life.
During a Colorpuncture treatment, the patient plays an active role in the healing process. Feedback during the session is encouraged so the treatment can be adjusted to gain maximum benefit. Mandel believes only one person can do the healing, the patient himself.

COLORPUNCTURE "HOMEWORK"
In the spirit of self-directed healing, Colorpuncture "homework" is often given to patients as a follow-up between sessions. These self-treatments are prescribed, carefully demonstrated and explained in advance. This shifts the responsibility in healing to the patient. This direct involvement of the patient in his own treatment is a radical departure from the orthodox doctor-patient relationship where the patient puts himself in the doctors' hands, relinquishing responsibility for his health. Patients who do take responsibility for their health heal faster, and enjoy a more enduring recovery.
"The science of light acts as a foundation for a new paradigm in healing, a new era in Light Medicine," said Dr. Jacob Liberman, author of Light: Medicine of the Future. Colorpuncture bridges the gap and allows us to travel in light toward living our unique life path in health and harmony.
