Sensitivities - The Hidden Cause of Illness
Some experts state that sixty percent of adults suffer from food sensitivities. And other experts say food sensitivities have increased over thirty five percent in the last twenty years. Food allergies are common and are usually identified by a blood test or scratch test. Most people do not need a medical test to tell them if the react in a negative way to a food they ate or touched.
Food sensitivities can manifest in many different ways with many different ailments. A reaction can happen with a food eaten, smelled, or touched. People that react a lot feel like they are hypochondriacs. Some people can even react if they get a few inches from an offending food.
The evidence of these reactions can be anywhere from a headaches, bloating, stuffy nose, runny nose (during the meal) or as severe as the throat closing up and a very rapid heartbeat.
This can be the body’s confused overactive immune system surrounding the cells with a watery substance to flush away the “invaders”. This then causes a myriad of symptoms such as a runny nose, a throat that feels scratchy or tight, sinus congestion, headaches, joint pains, diarrhea, constipation, bloating, gas, belching, drowsiness, tiredness, memory loss, confusion, and hyperactivity and so on. Most symptoms we feel are “normal” reactions to a food or environmental item. In my opinion, most of the everyday “common” health problems are reactions to sensitivities. We don’t have to suffer; there is a safe and long lasting technique to deal with these symptoms.
What causes sensitivities? We eat more corn, wheat, soy, sugar, artificial additives, and food colorings than ever before. We eat more commercially prepared food and these foods can have added fillers, colorings and preservatives. Our bodies like to do things the natural way. We ate wild game, fish, fruits and vegetables for millions of years. Milk and wheat were introduced into human diets “only” ten thousand years ago – sugar wasn’t eaten much till the 1900’s. And the last thirty years more and more chemicals have been added to our food. We have evolved and adapted but not quickly enough to handle the food changes in the past thirty years. And what about the changes in our food that is happening today and will continue to happen from now on?
There is hope beyond the rotation diet, injections, pills and avoidance. There have been techniques involving Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for the last twenty five years that specially deal with sensitivities. They are NAET(naet.com), BioSET (www.bioset.net) and the technique I use called AcuSET.
AcuSET is a technique that identifies your sensitivities with computerized electro dermal screening with an FDA approved machine. We then expose you to the item you are sensitive to in a very safe manner (there is no need to come in contact with the actual item in any way). You are then treated with a specific Acupuncture protocol using twelve tiny needles (again FDA approved). This procedure eliminates your body’s response to the items.
We’ve treated almost 4,000 people with AcuSET and with incredible lasting results. I treated a severe asthmatic 8 years ago, successfully. She moved away and just recently returned to the area. She came in for a “tune-up”. I suggested we re-test her and see if any items showed positive. Out of 98 items tested all were still clear. She reported that she has not had trouble with anything that bothered her in the past but had noticed some new items such as perfumes and soaps. We treated her with those items and she’s doing great. I know this sound’s “too good to be true” and I understand that reaction – as I have it at least once a day! Just remember that the body was designed to heal itself and did a good job of that for millions of years (or there would be no one on this planet). If we remove the offending items your body starts to heal and if we add Acupuncture, change the bad diet and add some nutritional supplements you can become healthy and stay that way.
I have treated almost four thousand people with this technique with better than an 85% success rate.
